Your Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico is proud to be the fiscal home of the Anna, Age Eight Institute and their 100% initiatives that work to ensure that 100% of New Mexican children, students, and families can thrive. In the coming year, your CFSNM team will support teams in more than 15 counties across New Mexico who work to reduce adverse childhood experiences and increase family community connections for state residents.
The Anna, Age Eight Institute was established in 2019 with funding from the New Mexico state legislature and is sponsored by New Mexico State University. They use data-driven, collaborative approaches to reform the root causes of trauma in communities, bringing together leaders in the public and private sectors to address issues in several counties.
